About Dennis
I've been coaching, tutoring, and teaching various subjects for years now, as I like seeing how proud people are when they accomplish something they thought was impossible. I started tutoring to keep others out of that aggravating, time-sucking cycle. Since then, I've written out cheat-sheet style notes and formula sheets to help every math student—from basic middle school classes to advanced college calculus—figure out what’s going on, understand the important concepts, and pass their classes, once and for all.

To me, math has always been fascinating and often frustrating.
I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half.
I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”
As a young student, the thing I disliked most was studying for exams, especially when it involved a lot of memorization. It took so much time! But studying math was different. Once I understood how a process worked, that was it—I was done. I loved that, and it's the approach I now share with my students. Having those "Ah-ha!" moments made me want to help others see just how beautiful a language math could be.
Together we can figure out just how you can do well in math, and actually, just maybe enjoy the process and see the world in a whole new way.
