About Sam
I am an eager student myself who knows the struggles of learning. I've helped friends and family with math and science as these subjects are typically very difficult for people. The best feedback I've received is that I don't just help people learn but I help them with the steps that they need to take to help in an exam. This can help you better figure out what to do when being asked certain questions. Making the test easier means that learning gets easier too! I like puzzles and games which can help make lessons more interesting and fun. Engagement in a lesson is very important so I try to make it as engaging as possible.

As a Cognitive science and AI bachelor graduate I have dealt with everything that students today need to study successfully. The effect of using AI can be detrimental for students if not used correctly and their ability to learn or adapt can suffer. In studying cognitive science we focused on memory. This means I have experience with effective studying strategies that get actual results. I tend to focus on what a student needs. Looking through the content necessary and adapting a lesson plan based on it. The most effective way for a student to learn is for them to be able to explain it. That is why my focus is on interactive lessons that help students actually understand the subject instead of just listening to a lesson. I excel at teaching secondary education for math, science, English and programming. I can easily adapt my teaching style to other subjects. I am very patient as I understand the difficulty students face with studying and will not continue something if it is not understood. I try to make students feel like it is a safe space to ask questions as this is the best way to see where more help is needed.
