About Rajnish

I have taken physics classes for my Bachelor's as a Teaching Assistant, where I took classes, and helped students with solving questions. I have also taken classes in more advanced concepts like Computer Vision and Animation, at a grad level as TA. I treat my students as my peers in the classroom, where I explain the concepts to them, and we solve the problems together, share our thoughts and ideas on a topic, and come up with various ways to solve a question, in the hope for a better understanding.

About the lesson

I teach using examples. I have taught Bachelor's Physics classes at Penn and also helped other Teaching Assistants improve their teaching style in a group learning setting as a teaching fellow at the Department of Active Learning.

* I design the topics with examples, and different brain teaser questions which are derived from a very fundamental concept, and steadily increasing it to more complex problems.

* Instead of giving 100s of formulas to remember, I only provide fundamentals, and then teach how to derive, improve the understanding, and make, and avoid students feeling overwhelmed.

* I also tend to ask a lot of questions to make sure the student reaches the answer by connecting the dots, instead of giving away everything.

* I am looking to teach high school students and freshmen, but I have also taken classes at a grad level, as a teaching assistant, and hence I can change pace and style as per the student's need and learning speed.
