About Steven
Hello!
I'm a recent graduated PhD student from Durham University, where I worked on the theoretical physics of the Large Hadron Collider. In addition to the research, I spend time tutoring and teaching both undergraduates and A-level students in physics and maths, and can remember well how hard these subjects can sometimes appear! I can provide you with the great foundations to not only learn the fundamentals of physics, but also actually take an interest in a truly fascinating subject. Whether it's getting to grips with Newton's laws or understanding complex subatomic structure, I have the recent background, knowledge and skills to help in numerous ways. I can also help with topics in mathematics: a strong mathematical grounding is a powerful tool for exploring the beauty of physics to a higher level.
I can also provide a good introduction to first year undergraduate level physics to bridge the gap from A-Levels (which to me seemed quite a daunting leap at the time).
