I aim to make math simple. Understanding the concepts is the long term goal, but initially I strive the help the student make connections between what he/she knows and what is being taught. I have found this to greatly improve the student's problem-solving ability and persistence through more complex problems.

I use several strategies when it comes with tutoring math. However, I begin with testing the student's capacity to challenge oneself and face challenges. I make questions challenging, but not too challenging in order to build the student's confidence.
