About Qi

I recently graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) with an MSc in Finance, following a BA in Economics from Sun Yat-sen University, where I achieved a GPA of 3.9/4.0.

I have a strong mathematical background, having achieved 4.0/4.0 in Advanced Mathematics and won First Prize in a university mathematics competition. My university studies also covered calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics.

I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, intuitive explanations and would love to help students build confidence in maths and achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

I offer personalised Maths tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students, with lessons typically lasting 60 minutes.

My approach focuses on understanding the logic behind mathematical concepts rather than simply memorising formulae. I break down complex topics into manageable steps, combining clear explanations with practical exercises and exam-style questions.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, pace and goals, whether they need help with challenging topics, exam preparation or building confidence in Maths.
