I worked with Ruth as an assistant in her drama groups for children and could see how beautifully their confidence grew in as little as one class.
Many children, who were very small during the pandemic and had little experience with communication skills, opened up and started to play with other kids, mainly due to Ruth's guidance, patience, playfulness, and enthusiasm.
Ruth is a real professional who has an amazing approach to children and adults, and whoever gets to work with her is very lucky!

I can’t recommend Ruth enough as a drama, speech and acting teacher. My son was delayed in his speech and Ruth really helped with his articulation, vocabulary, expression and confidence. And he absolutely adored his sessions with her. She has a magical way of bringing out even the shyest child out of their shell and getting them comfortable with using words and speaking to others. It is one big fun play time but immensely helpful in terms of social and speech development! She is warm, caring, kind and loads of fun but at the same time very observant of the child’s unique needs and very experienced at what she does. Ruth’s weekly sessions were a highlight!

My children loved their drama sessions with Ruth! My little one blossomed in confidence and enjoyed crafting stories, whilst my older one became more focused and less shy. Ruth was amazing at tailoring the sessions to their needs and incorporated many clever ideas to help them find their unique voices. One of my favourite recollections is my daughter smiling and proclaiming, "I am a queen! I am brave!"
