About Ceren
My name is Ceren, and I'm originally from Turkey. I hold both US and Turkish citizenship. I graduated from Belmont High School in Massachusetts in 2017 and then went on to graduate from Yaşar University with a BA in English Language and Literature in 2024. I have two years of experience working with non-native English (ESL) students as a part-time assistant teacher at a US elementary school. I've also taught private lessons with beginner and intermediate students in both the US and Türkiye. I currently tutor 10 students online, including younger students, and I always strive to create engaging and effective lessons.

I have a deep passion for teaching English and helping my students enjoy the learning process. My goal is to help each student feel comfortable and confident while also supporting them in improving their English with my guidance. Together, we'll make a great team and achieve your language goals step by step! I use the direct method in my teaching because I believe it's the most natural and effective way for students to develop real-world communication skills.
If you're looking for a fun, supportive, and goal-oriented learning experience, book a trial lesson with me so we can talk about your goals and plan how I can help you. Let's make learning English fun together!
