About Caroline
I am a recent graduate holding a Master's in Linguistics who has tutored undergraduate and postgraduate ESL students in academic writing for 3 years. My experience as a tutor and postgraduate education in Linguistics provides me with the skills needed to identify each student's areas for improvement and approach tutoring sessions in a way which is both informative and fun.

My classes are highly interactive and I take an analytic approach in that I challenge my students to think critically and ask questions about language, writing, and communication rather than relying on rote memorization. To me, the most important aspect of the tutoring experience is that the student can see their own improvement and gain confidence in their language abilities in each session.
