I am a master’s degree candidate (linguistics minor) with a with 5 years of private tutor experience. (The 5 years are spread over the course of the last decade.)
Bragging rights: one my first private tuition students graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Sc. in 2016. Others from around the world have since followed.

My primary teaching method is a self-developed lecture-Socratic hybrid. In simpler terms, I have developed a method which fuses traditional, classic lecture style teaching with a more interactive exploration of the subject. The latter requires student preparation and participation. It frees the student explore the depths of their learning abilities.
However, what I love most about private tuition its flexibility; it allows me to tailor lessons to each specific student.
