About Jayden

Hi, I’m Jayden, I'm based near Langley, Slough and I've recently completed my A-Levels currently taking a gap year while retaking Maths and Psychology. I achieved ABB at A-Level, including A in Maths, and a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths. I have previous experience as a Maths Peer Tutor, supporting GCSE students with their learning and exam preparation.

I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I understand that students can sometimes feel nervous or frustrated when they find Maths difficult. Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I can relate to the challenges students face and explain concepts in a straightforward and relatable way. I’m committed to creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and improving. I take pride in being reliable, well-prepared and genuinely invested in helping students make progress.

About the lesson

I provide personalised Maths lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, adapting each session to the student’s strengths, weaknesses and goals. I focus on understanding concepts rather than memorising methods, using clear explanations, worked examples and exam-style questions. Lessons typically last 1 or 2 hours, with the option to arrange longer/more sessions when needed. I achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and B at A-Level, including Maths, and I am currently retaking Maths during my gap year to achieve an A star. I also have experience as a Maths Peer Tutor, supporting GCSE students with difficult topics, revision and exam preparation. Whether you need help catching up, improving your confidence, preparing for exams or challenging yourself with harder questions, I will tailor each lesson to your individual level and work at a pace that suits you.
