About Elia

Friendly, patient and supportive tutor that has achieved an A* in both A-level and a 9 in GCSE. I also have taken part in the Chemistry Olympiad where I achieved a Bronze, having to apply my knowledge to answer complex degree-level questions. Looking back I can spot the effective techniques that enabled me to achieve consistent high scores, and this is something that I would love to share with my students, to help them grow that academic confidence!

About the lesson

My tutoring style is both focused and supportive - with recent first-hand experience in A-levels and GCSEs I aim to provide structured lessons that are personalised to you. I aim to help students solidify their understanding of key topics and to break down exam questions to help students spot the question styles and patterns that come up, enabling them to feel confident in exam conditions. I understand how daunting some aspects of the exam can be, but I firmly believe that with targeted and effective practice, I can help students to achieve top marks.
