About Cate
After taking 7 years of German in high school and experiencing the culture for myself while traveling to the country over the summer, I am excited to help you learn about both the language and the culture. I am also a German minor at my University!

I am well-versed in what works in learning this classically difficult language. Depending on where you are in your knowledge, I will start with the basics: verb conjugation, simple phrases, etc. We will do activities from workbooks both in-session and on your own. I also utilize Duolingo.
I am very patient and understanding throughout this whole process; German is hard! I try my best to help you appreciate the language and leave each session with more than what you came in with.
