About Venkata Malavika

As a person who lived and fell in love with Sweden, Swedish came to me very naturally. There is something about learning a language that makes the place you live in even more wonderful! I immediately enrolled myself in one of the most prestigious Universities to learn Swedish and got myself certified on a native speaker level within 9 months! Now that I am here in Canada, I want to share my knowledge with people who are looking to learn. I had so much fun while I was learning Swedish and that is what I look to pass on to my students!

My Approach as a Swedish Tutor: As a passionate Swedish tutor, I believe in interactive, practical, and student-centered learning to help students gain confidence and fluency. Immersive Learning: I encourage students to engage with Swedish media (music, podcasts, news articles) to enhance comprehension. Personalized Learning Plans: Each student gets a customized plan based on their proficiency level, interests, and objectives (travel, business, academic). Typical Lesson Plan: A standard 60-minute lesson might look like this: Warm-up & Review (10 mins) – Quick recap of previous lessons with speaking drills or a fun quiz. New Topic Introduction (20 mins) – Grammar, vocabulary, or cultural aspects with interactive examples. Practice & Application (20 mins) – Role-plays, listening exercises, and real-world usage in context.
