About Cat
I am an astrophysicist, studied my bachelor in England. Every year over the summer I would help out at summer courses teaching different classes, from English, to maths, cooking, arts and crafts; and would also do after-class homework and exam study help for kids in primary and secondary school. After my degree I went back to Mexico and started teaching English as a Second Language at a private school of languages, and I wish to continue spreading my knowledge around.

My teaching methods varies depending on the students or groups. Some students work better by following a book and be guided through it; other students do better with visuals, like movies, songs, talking; and other students prefer a combination of various things. In the end the idea is to find how everyone can learn best and the material gets adapted to them.

Details
The first hour is free and it is used to explore the students' or group's level, needs and expectations, as well as to set up a the class times and goals.
Travel costs vary depending on location, as I would take the bus, which is approximately au$5 per ride.
Cancellations should be made at least 3 hours in advance for online lessons, and at least 12 hours for lessons that require mobility.
If part of a group, the student must complete complimentary material or take a private session after 2 or 3 absences, depending on the material covered.
