About Shaurya

Welcome! I’m Dr. Shaurya Sachdev—M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (biophysics & statistical mechanics), former Marie Curie post-doctoral fellow in Europe, now leading business development in a global biotech company. Over a decade of research, lecturing, and mentoring has honed my ability to turn complex physics, mathematics, chemistry, and statistics into clear, engaging ideas. Professionalism is my hallmark: every lesson is planned, punctual, and goal-oriented; progress is tracked with data-driven diagnostics and shared reports. I blend rigorous academic insight with real-world examples, giving you both exam mastery and true scientific intuition. Sessions are conducted on secure platforms with digital whiteboards, annotated notes, and optional recordings for review. Students—from high-school scholars to university engineers—consistently report higher confidence, sharper problem-solving skills, and tangible grade improvements. Book a trial session and experience expert guidance delivered with clarity, patience, and absolute commitment to your success.

About the lesson

I start with concept-first dialogue: before equations appear, we clarify the physical intuition or chemical mechanism in everyday language. I use a live digital whiteboard, Socratic questioning, quick polls, and spaced-repetition flashcards to keep the session active. Mistakes are analyzed openly so students learn error-diagnosis, not fear it. A typical lesson plan (60 min) Warm-up (5 min) – rapid recap of prior key idea through one probing question. Concept dive (15 min) – brief narrative + visual derivation linking theory to a practical example. Guided practice (20 min) – we solve graded problems together; I fade prompts as confidence grows. Independent challenge (10 min) – student tackles a new problem while I observe thinking aloud. Debrief & takeaway (5 min) – summarize heuristics, assign a short retrieval-practice set, schedule follow-up. What sets me apart Dual lens of Ph.D. research in statistical mechanics and current biotech industry work, so I connect textbook abstractions to cutting-edge applications. Trained as a Marie Curie fellow, I bring European active-learning pedagogy and open-science resources. Progress is data-driven: periodic diagnostics generate personalized study plans that evolve with performance. Lessons for: High-school students (IGCSE, IB, CBSE, ICSE; JEE/NEET physics & chemistry). Undergraduates in science/engineering needing calculus-based physics, physical chemistry, or statistics. Early-stage researchers seeking clarity in thermodynamics, statistical physics, or data analysis for lab work. Whether you need to ace an exam or grasp the concept essentials as second nature on one seamless thread, I tailor the roadmap to your specific goals and starting point.
