About Your Tutor: William Palm I’m a professional painter and dedicated art educator with over 32 years of experience teaching and making art. I work in watercolor, oil, acrylic, and drawing—capturing the spirit of scenic places like oceans, railroads, and twilight skies. My goal is to help each student grow with confidence, creativity, and solid technical skill. I’ve taught elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adult learners, both in private lessons and community classes. I tailor my lessons to the student’s level, goals, and interests—whether you're a beginner, a hobbyist, or looking to advance your personal art practice. For Adult Learners Whether you're returning to art or starting fresh, I’ll guide you with patient, professional instruction. We’ll explore technique, composition, color, and personal expression in a relaxed but focused environment. I’ve helped countless adult students find joy and progress in their creative journey. For Kids and Teens I’ve taught art in public schools for over three decades and love working with young artists. My lessons are fun, skill-building, and encouraging—helping kids and teens gain confidence while learning how to draw, paint, and express themselves through art. I'm William Palm, a professional representational painter working in watercolor and oil. My work celebrates the poetry of place—coastal towns, scenic railroads, twilight skies—and I bring the same passion and care to teaching as I do to painting. With over a decade of experience in both creating and exhibiting fine art, I specialize in helping students unlock their creativity, sharpen their technical skills, and build confidence in their artistic voice.
