About Tara-Leigh

I received 8 distinctions in matric. My highest subjects were Mathematics and Physical Sciences. Moreover, I am studying university-level Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as a Biomedical Engineering student. Those are challenging subjects, and having a skilled tutor can make a big difference. We can discuss any specific questions you may have. Currently, I have 1 year of experience in tutoring. My lessons are relaxed, while maintaining professionalism.

About the lesson

As a university student, I understand the minds of young learners. I only teach in English. I am able to create unique ways to explain concepts in a way that aligns with your learning style. My lessons are catered for each student. I am patient and friendly. We shall spend as much time as you need on any topic you struggle with. Moreover, my sessions are chill and relaxed- no pressure! I believe that it is important for students to apply their knowledge. Hence, I strive to teach understanding, rather than “rote learning”. Let’s start our tutoring journey!

Tara-Leigh is a GREAT tutor. She is very patient and very kind which creates a very comfortable and supportive atmosphere. Tara-Leigh adjusted to my learning style which made learning not only easy but fun! She helped me understand very difficult concepts in only a few days (these same concepts took my school weeks to teach) and I’ve definitely seen an increase in my marks. If you’re looking for a really great tutor who’s very helpful and supportive I totally recommend Tara.
