About Kelvin

I hold a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics, with a specialization in mathematical logic, and I have a strong academic background across core areas such as abstract algebra, calculus, and discrete mathematics. My training has given me a deep appreciation for both the theoretical foundations of mathematics and their practical applications, which I bring into my teaching.
Over the past four years, I have worked extensively as a mathematics tutor, supporting students ranging from elementary and middle school all the way through high school, while also helping advanced students prepare for college-level subjects such as linear algebra and calculus. This wide range of experience allows me to adapt my instruction to students at very different stages of their learning journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach emphasizes building strong conceptual understanding, not just memorizing formulas. I focus on identifying gaps in foundational knowledge, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style, and breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. I take pride in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing mathematical confidence.
