About Daniel
I am a startup founder currently building an app in the self-improvement and gamification space and using Figma to design the front end.
Before starting my own company, I worked for another startup as their lead UX researcher and designer, and I was recently hired by a 3rd (yes, third!) startup to be their lead UX designer. I also work as a chess teacher on the side because I am passionate about teaching and love the game.

Figma can be a daunting software to start exploring by yourself. My lesson plan breaks down every tool you will use, advanced design techniques, and best industry practices for designing with a team.
My course is structured into themed lessons, in which I break down a tool or technique, explain how and why it is used, then do an activity with you so that you can learn it hands-on. Finally, each lesson has 3-4 challenges for you to complete on your own (with me guiding or on your own time).
These lessons are meant to take you from an absolute beginner with 0 design experience and 0 Figma experience to a capable Figma designer.
