About Diksha

I have lived in Germany for 3 years and learned the language so that I could blend in with German society. But this was just a starting point.
I fell in love with the language because of my Amazing Teacher and haven't looked back since.
I completed my B1 certification from Telc(Erlangen, Germany) in June 2019 and after that, I did a course in Deutsch für Arbeit (German for work) and completed the Course in November 2019 and reached B2 Sprechen Level.
Empowered with this knowledge, I acted as a tandem partner for several international students. This gave me immense confidence and I started taking Individual and Group classes and have taught A1/A2/B1 levels to more than 40 students so far.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn the language is through real-life situations.
I employ everyday situations that one is expected to come across while living in Germany or while communicating in German and add a layer of fun that cultivates the learner's interest.

Perfect! If I have to summarize quickly: I couldn't find a better teacher at this pocket-friendly rate.
I'm a class 10th student and I have German subject and preparing for boards. I found Diksha mam 1 months back and I was having broken concepts before that and unable to Grasp the language.
Not only was she able to assess my level and fix the basics, but she also adopted my Kurzbuch quickly and help me prepare for exams. Absolutely recommended.

Her grip on the language is superb and she uses lot of examples to explain the concepts. We're doing a 45 lesson pack, preparing for Telc B1 and we're doing lot of exercises for all modules. Hoping for the best.

I had done A1 classes from my local institute in Germany ( integration course) and that took more than 5 months. Somehow I felt need for individual attention especially for accent since I lack there. I did trial classes with couple of tutors and then started with Diksha.
To my surprise, she was able to orient the classes to my individual needs especially sprechen and hören. We were able to complete A2.1 and a2.2 within 3 months.
I will definitely recommend Diksha to anyone taking up the German language.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I started learning German to mix well in society when I was living in Germany. As I started learning the language, I was able to blend into society, enjoy conversations with people. that was my driving factor.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I felt there was a lack of good teachers in online space at an affordable price point. This motivated me to start taking online classes.
How does your work help society?
I try not just to teach about the language, but also about society and how to blend in.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My teacher Iveta is my role model. She made language learning a fun process and was so approachable and kind. As a teacher, I intend to do the same.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I love doing Zumba, cycling, and dancing
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I helped one of my early students to overcome the obstacle of speaking and he was able to get B! TELC certification. It was a very proud moment for me.
