About Jonathan

I have around 8 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language. My PhD research was about teaching English pragmatics. My online lessons are designed to advance your English proficiency to a required level for academic or employment purposes.

About the lesson

I use a communicative approach to teaching English. I will focus on improving your speaking and listening skills through structured conversations. In the process, it will also help improve your grammar and vocabulary. If you are a beginner or someone who has not studied English, you will learn how to speak and write conversational English on everyday topics. If you are an intermediate and already have some knowledge of English, we will work together on improving your communication skills in an academic or work environment. If you are planning to take the IELTS exam, I will assist in your preparation by targeting areas that need improvement (such as speaking and listening skills).

Perfect! Social communication is an art, and Jonathan certainly knows how to teach this subject with his unique specialization. Jonathan teaches English pragmatics to my 12-year-old Asperger son who finds social interaction challenging.
