About Jenn
As an ASL teacher with 20+ years of experience, I am passionate about helping students learn ASL with confidence. I bring professional teaching experience, authentic Deaf perspectives, and a strong understanding of Deaf culture to every lesson. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing, asking questions, and developing their ASL skills.

I use an interactive, practical, and student-centered approach. Lessons focus on ASL communication, vocabulary, grammar, facial expressions, and Deaf culture through real-world situations.
Typical Lesson
Each lesson includes a warm-up/review, new vocabulary and concepts, guided signing practice, conversation activities, and opportunities to apply ASL in everyday situations.

I teach ASL Levels 1–3 for high school and college students, as well as anyone interested in learning ASL, improving their signing skills, or gaining a deeper understanding of Deaf culture.
