About the lesson

1. Fundamental Methods for All Ages These techniques build confidence and creativity: Start with Shapes: Teach kids to see the world in basic shapes (circles, squares, triangles). Step-by-Step Drawing: Break down drawings into simple, clear steps (e.g., how to draw a cat in 5 steps). Copy and Trace: Use light boxes or tracing paper to build muscle memory. Observation Drawing: Place simple objects (fruit, toys) for kids to draw by observing. 2. Age-Wise Drawing Approaches Ages 3–5 (Preschool) Use big paper and thick crayons. Focus on scribbles, dots, and simple shapes. Encourage free drawing – no correction, just exploration. Use finger painting or drawing to music for sensory fun. Ages 6–8 (Early Primary) Introduce themes: animals, houses, people. Teach simple stories with drawing (e.g., draw what you did today). Use "Draw Along with Me" sessions (imitating teacher).
