Hello! I’m Matt – a lawyer and English teacher currently based in Brisbane. I help students, particularly Chinese speakers, build real-world English confidence for study, work, or everyday communication. I am patient, clear, and culturally aware, with over five years of teaching experience. Having recently returned from teaching English in China, and speaking Mandarin at an advanced level, I understand the unique challenges Chinese learners face with pronunciation, grammar, translation, and Western communication styles.
