About Khushi
As an IB graduate and Mathnasium Instructor, I’ve developed a strong sense of professionalism and academic rigor that shapes my teaching. My internships have equipped me with essential soft skills like leadership, organization, and time management. I’m deeply motivated to teach, inspired by the mentors who helped me immensely. I believe that through practice and support, every student can find success. Teaching Method: I provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to ensure each student receives the attention and support they need. I encourage questions and seek clarification, fostering an inclusive and judgment-free learning environment.
Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with a review of the topics to be covered. I create engaging slides and presentations to explain key concepts, followed by practice exercises. I conclude with a mini quiz and can assign take-home quizzes for additional mastery.
Supplemental Instruction: I offer supplemental resources, including recommended YouTube videos and informative websites, to enhance understanding and provide further clarification on challenging topics.
What Sets Me Apart: My patience and extensive experience in education allow me to relate to students. I understand the challenges of learning and create an atmosphere where mistakes are viewed as valuable learning opportunities.
Who I Teach: I can tutor students from kindergarten to high school in math and science. With my background in IB and AP courses, I also offer assistance with college essays and have experience in English language courses.
