About Cherlyn

During my studies and work experience as a writer/journalist, I've gone through all kinds of English exercises, writing, and being exposed to all forms of expression suited to different platforms. I've also aced English as a subject since I was young, and my passion for the subject and love for the written word has brought me far. I hope to embark on a journey with you, and create a wonderful experience for you too!

I've always had a knack for coaching my friends, and I believe the experience has given me a headstart to tutor this subject. I'd love to take the boredom out of the language, and replace that with hands-on ways of learning it efficiently.

About the lesson

I'm a Singaporean who graduated with a journalism degree from QUT, and a diploma for creative writing and new media at Singapore Polytechnic. I've always coached my classmates and helped them with their English assignments, and they've improved with leaps and bounds.

I'm able to teach all forms of English, be it basic, intermediate, or in any varied art form or expression. I glean from my own experience, and apply a different but fun approach to learning the English Language.

It will be conducted using different media elements, out-of-the-box methods, and real world type of situations that will enable students to apply what they've learnt in a practical manner.

I'm patient, understanding and really friendly, so if you give me a go, I'd love to help you take a step towards a brighter future for you!
