About Ella

My name is Ella and I'm from Barbados. I've just graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Psychology, on the premed track, and completed two minors in Chemistry and Italian. I have been teaching for a while, in multiple capacities and am looking forward to helping you progress!

About the lesson

My chemistry lessons focus on building a strong foundation so concepts make sense rather than feeling like memorisation. We'll work through core topics step by step, from the basics to trickier areas like reactions, equations, and problem-solving. I will use practice questions and clear explanations tailored to how you learn best. I like to start by identifying exactly where you're finding things difficult, then build lessons around that, whether it's exam prep, coursework support, or strengthening your overall understanding. Whether you're working through GCSE, A-level, or university-level chemistry, my aim is to help you feel confident and prepared.
