About Roberta
I started teaching Italian L2 during my university studies (15 years ago) and have continued until today, both as a professional volunteer with an association in Florence which deals with school and education, and giving private lessons to foreigners who have chosen to live or to spend a period of their lives in Italy. My experience is mainly with adults, literate or not, from different countries (USA, Australia, Canada, Morocco, Peru, Spain, Somalia, Eritrea, Denmark, Romania, Sri Lanka, Kosovo). I've always established very good relationships with my students, as a basis for a learning process set in a relaxed and motivating context. I helped some of my students to study for the Italian language test, required to apply for long-term residence permit, which they all successfully passed.

I have a degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at the University for Foreigners of Siena and I have a Master degree in Management and Development of Human Resources from the University of Florence. I am a Brain Gym® teacher and consultant, educational method of body-mind integration which, through body movement, activates the brain, supporting the learning process and developing the full potential and innate ability to learn that each person naturally has. My teaching methodology provides a communicative-relational approach, customized and defined each time according to the student's needs, interests and goals.
