About Tania
I have been teaching for eighteen years. Five of them were spent in the U.S. and five more in Italy. I have operated my own cultural center and planned community events focused on Italian culture. I've planned and directed book clubs, writing clubs, and cooking clubs, all centered on Italy, studying both its rich traditions and its contemporary culture. Many of my students are repeat students! Central to my mission as an educator is to foster a real sense of community among my students. My classroom is a safe space in which to experiment, have fun, and learn.

My courses focus on your wants, needs, and goals. I offer customized 30-60-minute Italian language and culture lessons to help practice or perfect reading, pronunciation, written production, listening skills, and literary interpretation. All courses have a communicative orientation supported by the appropriate vocabulary and grammar. Objectives are set together, and each course is designed specifically for its student(s).
