About Muhammad Rafi
Im a Drummer. Ive been playing drums since 6th grade. I have a school background at the Cikini School of Music and studied at the Yogyakarta Indonesian Institute of the Arts. After graduating from college I returned to Jakarta and taught at a music school in the Jagakarsa area. I have started teaching drums since 2015 at several tutoring centers in Yogyakarta. Already has more than 20 students and 10 private students in Yogya. Some of my students in Jogja now have won 2nd place in the drum kids competition and some have become Church drummers. Currently, I have 16 students in Jakarta who are just learning drums from the basics.

I have several teaching methods based on the abilities and perceptiveness of the students that I will teach. So I will first analyze at the beginning of the meeting how students respond to what I will teach. I use the basic drum book in the ISI Yogyakarta curriculum. My target is that besides my students being fluent and proficient at playing the drums, they are also proficient at reading drum notation
