About Cio
With 20 years of experience as an ESL tutor, I am dedicated to helping high school and college students succeed in English. I believe that learning a language can change a student’s future, and I am committed to making that journey positive and rewarding.
I have taught around 150 to 200 students, which has helped me understand different learning styles and challenges. I focus on making lessons simple, practical, and easy to understand so students can use English in real-life situations.
One of the most important milestones in my career has been helping students overcome their fear of speaking English. Many of my students have become confident communicators and improved their academic performance.
My classes are interactive and engaging, with a strong focus on practice and participation. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes.
My aim is to guide students, build their confidence, and help them achieve their goals.

I follow a student-focused ESL teaching methodology that combines real-life application, interactive learning, and problem-solving exercises. Real-life examples and case studies help students see the relevance of English in daily life, academic settings, and professional environments.
Motivation is central to my teaching, and I foster a supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to speak and practice regularly. Problem-solving activities, such as role-plays, discussions, and scenario simulations, help students develop fluency, confidence, and critical thinking skills.
I teach with integrity by providing honest feedback and structured guidance. Flexibility is a core principle, allowing lessons to adapt to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals. Alongside ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing for holistic language development.
