About Paul
I’m a professional Industrial Designer with over 9 years of experience in the toy industry, including my most recent role as a Design Manager at a major toy manufacturer. I’ve reviewed lots of portfolios and have led design teams for the past 5 years, so I know exactly what skills students and professionals need to stand out in this competitive field. Whether you’re preparing for design school, refreshing your sketching skills as a working professional, or exploring design as a new passion, I tailor each lesson to fit your needs and learning style.
I specialize in:
• Design sketching & rapid visualization
• Rendering Techniques
• 1-point, 2-point & 3-point perspective drawing
• Digital sketching workflows (optional)
• Portfolio review & prep (for school or career transitions)
My teaching style is hands-on, flexible, and focused on building confidence through practice. Lessons are available virtually or in-person (depending on your location), and each session ends with a personalized assignment to reinforce your growth between meetings.
