About Lisa

I am a student at Eindhoven University of Technology and I am in my first year of the bachelor Industrial Design. I have been tutoring my neighbour for over a year now and she has already progressed enormously. She really likes that I use different techniques to explain subjects.

About the lesson

When I teach, I always like to do that in a structured way. First we make sure you know what it is about and understand the subject. Next, we will make assignments to test whether you know it, and slowly I will help less and less until you can do the job alone! I also like to work with a step-by-step plan and with pen and paper. In this way you do not only learn about the subject, but you also learn how to introduce structure and regularity in your work and this is often important in mathematics.
