About Jennifer
I am a professional ESL teacher with experience from absolute beginner to advanced. I have over twenty years experience and am much loved by my students because of my caring and kind nature, my patience, and the fact that I tailor classes to fit each students needs, weaknesses and future aims. I have taught second language learners, migrants and refugees of all ages, nationalities and cultures and beliefs, prepared students for Business studies, IELTS and have run in-house courses for international businesses employing non-native speakers, helping them with not only language, but also local culture and customs and 'Aussie" English. I have also had experience as a ESL teacher trainer.

My teaching style is interactive and, I hope, interesting and fun. I am to make the student/s feel relaxed and confident, and not scared to make mistakes.
This said, my methodology changes with whom I am teaching. I use a very different style with academic students aiming at entering tertiary studies from what I use with elderly migrants trying to grasp everyday English so they can communicate and settle into living in a new country. With young learners I have more games and fun activities than what I would use with professional people wanting English for Business.
I plan my classes on a case-by-case structure.
