About Mikayla
My name is Mikayla, I am a 16 year old musician, I am in a band, and i've been playing guitar for 5 years. I was born in Victoria and moved to Queensland in late 2019. I was placed in private music lessons for 2 years, before I started to teach myself. Ever since I was a little kid, I have always been facinated by music. I was playing keyboard and ukulele (Even though I had no idea what I was doing at the time) I somehow found myself back to a musical instrument.
Besides taking msuic lessons outside of school for 2 years, I did music as a subject in year 9 and 10. My grades were always A's in the practical assessments, and had recieved multiple compliments on my talent.
I was told that I am very advanced with my knowledge of guitar by my teachers and other individuals.

Personally, music is something that I'm extremely passionate about. I would love to share that passion through teaching music to younger kids, aged 5 to 12, who are wanting to explore through the music field, and learn some tunes. Each lesson would be 45 minutes long and only cost $12 each session. Whether the lessons occur online or in person, is entirerly up to you. I want my students to feel safe and comfortable in an open enviroment. As I am still a school student, my schedule can also work around school hours on week days.
