About Rayne
I am an early graduating senior and have printed out rewards and certificates from art classes previously taken and competitions. I also frequently help other students and family members with their studies even if I'm not in the subject. I went to a high-tier all-girls school that relied heavily on academics and success, so there was a lot of hard work and fast-paced learning involved. As I am now at a school that allows me to get ahead as far as I want, I believe that students should learn at their own pace but be positively pushed to their potential and goals at the same time.

A lesson plan will consist of:
-Going over different vocab and artistic phrases to get familiar with the way art is talked about (depending on students' mental age)
-Teach and give information about examples and teaching about a historical artist or era or art based on the type of art I am teaching
-Small, no-pressure quizzes about the artist, era, and/or art form after lessons
- 5-10 minute question period twice each class day for the students to write out or ask any questions related or about art or the lessons being taught.
- Confirmation on what supplies the student has available, then going forward with a project to visually understand the concept.
-*I will always be doing the project as well!
What makes me stand out from other tutors is that my teaching method and techniques mainly rely on the students' learning style, so I will always interview the students and parents about what learning style works best for them. I believe that learning is subjective and the best way for a student to take things in is when their needs and mental clockwork is taken into consideration.
I understand that that is harder to do in a classroom full of students, so I would love to help any students that are struggling for that reason. I am open to all forms whether it be visually with more pictures and visual analogies, vocally with more one-on-one conversation and answering questions, reading/writing with more texts and passages to read or be read aloud, or kinesthetic with more hands-on activities and lesson plans depending on their available materials.
My lessons are varied, but the general range is from grades K-9th or anyone in beginner-early advanced art. No prior art experience or classes are needed!
