About Natalie
I have a B.Com (Honours) degree, which I obtained with distinction in the 1990's. After completion of my studies, I worked at several organisations, ranging from the South African Public Service to a union consultant, and then on to various HR and IT positions. I obtained my teaching qualification (PGCE) with distinction and I have been teaching at a public/government school for over 10 years. I have taught in the Intermediate phase, from Gr 4 - 7, and have taught primarily English language and Natural Science. I have a passion for teaching and now I am in search of a new challenge in on-line teaching.

I am an intermediate phase teacher, teaching gr 4 -7 learners in the subjects, English (predominantly) and Natural Science. I have an extremely high aptitude in English and I strive on giving my best to my learners. This is noticeable in my significantly high pass rates. I teach classes of over 40 learners and a total of 147 learners per day. Although this is a work requirement in public schools in South Africa, I prefer a hands-on, more individualised approach to teaching- i.e. teaching smaller classes of approximately 12 - 15 learners at a time.

My tariff rate for on-line teaching is R300 per hour from my home, via Zoom.
Cheaper rates can be negotiated for lessons lasting for more than one hour only.
