About Lauren

I have a Physics degree from the University of St Andrews, and have over 2000 hours of Science and maths tutoring under my belt now. I have tutored exam preparation courses with schools and have helped my students to achieve top grades, build their confidence, and learn to find the fun in these subjects.

About the lesson

My teaching method is quite adaptable and focused on the individual needs of every student. Some students might feel that they need a refresh on the content they have covered in school, especially after absences due to Covid. Others are comfortable with the content but struggle to apply it effectively in exam situations. For most students, it's a bit of both. As such, my lessons tend to involve a mixture of consolidating knowledge then putting it into action in questions, and honing your exam technique in the process!
