About Noel

Technical proficiency in limits, continuity, and differential equations remains my primary tool for helping students achieve clarity. Most learners fail because they understand the theory but struggle to translate it into the specific language of the test. My BS Math Education from Carnegie Mellon University provides a rigid framework for deconstructing complex concepts like optimization and integrals.

Having spent 5 years teaching AP calculus, I possess a clear understanding of the exact points where honors students and retakers consistently encounter friction. My methodical approach emphasizes breaking down the fundamental theorem of calculus into manageable parts that even the most frustrated student can replicate. I keep feedback specific and track every individual goal against high standards of mathematical accuracy.

About the lesson

Many students lose significant points during the exam simply because they lack a disciplined strategy for pacing and managing FRQ technique. This problem happens because they view the test as a collection of isolated math problems rather than a repeatable process.

My 5 years of teaching experience allow me to identify these bottlenecks immediately during our work together. We will focus on drilling past papers until the mechanics of derivatives become second nature to you. Because I hold a degree from Carnegie Mellon University, I emphasize a logical flow that reflects how scorers actually grade your work.
