About Onwaba
I am currently in Matric, so I do not have any qualifications other than my grade 9, however this do not make me inexperienced. I have experience in teaching children informally, and this experience grew my interest in tutoring. I also have a passion for Maths and the sciences as I consider myself a Science and Mathematical girl. I enjoy seeing someone begin to appreciate the solving technique used for Maths, and Maths teaches you that there is a solution to every problem that there is, it sometimes an unexpected solution, however it is a solution that satifies the issue. I work hard in my Maths and puch for stellar marks, and I wish to help other learners achieve their academic goals as well.

I value teaching through examples, and working through the examples with the students so that they gain a better understanding of the concept. I am only able to teach in English.The students can expect a lesson to begin with a check-in session, where I ask the student how they feel about what they are learning, what do they not understand specifically and where they would like to dedicate the lesson to. Then I would proceed through the lesson, making use of examples and illustrations to help their understanding, then end of with practise questions that the student does, and we mark at the end. My lessons are specificaly aimed atlearners between the ages of 7-15 (Grade 1-9)
