About Linda
I am a scientific high school student, I have already given English lessons to elementary and middle school children and young people before the lockdown, not yet via online platforms but I am loose in the use of technology. I lived around the world until I was 10, where the only common language was English. I can speak (but not at levels that make teaching easy) Spanish, Russian and Portuguese. I am currently learning French on my own as an extra-curricular interest.

I try to teach English in the way it was useful to me, working around the English that is used in real life conversations and not the cues given by books for non-native speakers, obviously focusing a lot on the correct use of grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary extension, in preparation for possible certification exams. I try to make the lessons pleasant and light with references to current events, relaxed conversations and interesting materials. If requested, focus on English literature and history, for which I can gladly recover resources if they cannot be provided by the pupil.
