My approach as a tutor is student-centered and focused on building an understanding. I begin by identifying what my student already knows and where they are struggling. I use clear step-by-step instruction, examples and practice questions to reinforce key concepts. A typical lesson with me starts with review of previous material, moving into instruction on a new or challenging topic with guided practices and independent solving. What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, strong communication skills and my ability to explain ideas in a simple way. My lessons are designed for students from elementary school to high school.
