About Navnoor
I am a dedicated, patient, and energetic Maths tutor who is passionate about helping students reach their full academic potential. In every tutoring session, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. My aim is not just to teach Mathematics, but to instil a sense of curiosity and a genuine appreciation for the subject in my students. Understanding that each student learns differently, I employ a personalised, flexible approach to my tutoring sessions. I adapt my teaching style according to the unique needs, strengths, and learning style of every student, fostering an atmosphere that promotes curiosity and a love for Maths. My teaching methodology revolves around clarity, patience, and constant encouragement. I employ various teaching tools, including practice worksheets, interactive activities, and real-world examples to make complex concepts easier to grasp. Lessons are typically divided into three segments: a brief review of the previous lesson, an introduction and exploration of new concepts, and practice problems to consolidate learning. Typical lessons last between 60 to 90 minutes. However, this can be adjusted based on the student's needs and concentration span. I believe in quality engagement rather than quantity, ensuring each session is productive and beneficial. I am a proud holder 1st High in Computer Science with which came from my strong background in Maths and have conducted a full study of A-Level Maths. Over the past two years, I've tutored 20 GCSE Maths students, helping them boost their grades and confidence. This hands-on experience has enabled me to understand student psychology better and develop more effective teaching strategies. My lessons are primarily targeted at GCSE Maths students of any age who are keen on improving their understanding and performance. Whether you are struggling with basic concepts or looking for advanced guidance, my goal is to make Maths more approachable and enjoyable for you.
