About Lauren

Hey there!
I'm teacher Lauren, I started having contact with English when I was 6 years old, and since then I've fallen in love with the language.
I studied with some private teachers, and in 1999 I lived in Boston and Orlando, where I improved my English, studying at Brookline Adult and Community Education.
I taught English in several language schools, which contributed to my knowledge of different approaches.
I believe that learning a language needs to be contextualized and personalized.
Making one of my students able to communicate in English without fear is my biggest goal.

About the lesson

Firstly, I like to know my student's profile and purpose of study.
I don't work with a single material, I mix different materials, using the best approach according to your needs.
In my classes, you will also have activities with videos and gamification.
I work with the 4 language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) focusing on the skill in which you have the greatest difficulty.
