Hello! My name is George, and I teach philosophy from GCSE to Master's level online on all known videoconferencing apps. I studied philosophy at Durham university, gaining a 1st class degree.

About George
I am an aspiring university professor who has a genuine passion for teaching philosophy! By working as support staff in schools, and as a member of the student-staff consultative committee at Durham University, I am naturally personable with students of all ages.
I am motivated by listening to a person's life goals and how they want to get there. If you need any help with philosophy, I would be delighted to meet you.

The typical length of one of my lessons is 1-1.5 hours. My lessons are for students ranging from GCSE to Master's level, or anyone interested in the subject.
My default technique for university students is conversational. I ask you questions about what area of philosophy you are interested in learning more about, sign-post the key ideas for that area, and answer any follow-up questions.
I can also lead more focused lessons, aimed at those studying a curriculum. Here, you approach me with specific questions. I provide you with the answer, and the reference to back it up. Then I help you consolidate.
For GCSE and A-level students, I also read your textbook chapters, and exam guides, and help you revise for upcoming assessments.
