I would love to share the experience I have in watercolor, watercolor is one such medium which can be done live or by traveling.Watercolor painting can be completed within 3 to 4 layers ,easily dried .
Surly u can see the changes as you start doing and practice watercolor painting

Learning the basic of watercolors as watercolor is one of the transparent medium , you will be able to handle the flow of water.
