About Michael
I am a senior data scientist with a background in physics, currently the head of curriculum at UK's largest technical professional development company. And embarking on a masters-level research project in Artificial Intelligence. I have taught 1000s of adults and young adults in the range of subjects I mention here. Skills in: data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence. Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Programming (Python, R, Scala, C, Java, C++, C# and others). Also in Public Speaking, Education, and Communication. I have a lot of experience in undergraduate and some postgraduate philosophy, and I may be able to help in this area too. I have tutored in Leeds, London and Edinburgh since 2014 with a preference for adults and people looking to change career or for support with academic or vocational project. I am happy to work with teenagers, and I have DS clearance. I have not tutored children but may consider if it is a purely skills-based request (eg., programming) rather than for a specific exam. My preference is to tutor at or near my residence near the city of London, or in a central coffee shop.
