About Madeliefje
I passed the HAVO in 2019 and then immediately started the PABO. I was a junior mentor in high school and a tutor for a number of students. I also have experience teaching primary school children. I have had experience with the groups: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8.

I prefer to start with an orientation lesson to find out where the problem lies and to find out how the student is learning at the moment. After this we make a schedule of the lessons and we estimate how many lessons are needed. I think it is important that the tutoring is extra so I prefer not to give up homework unless the student needs it. The lessons themselves consist of: getting prior knowledge of the student, explanation, joint application, applying independently and then explaining to me. I believe that you only really understand something when you can clearly explain it to someone else.
