About Kathy

I love working with young people and because of this I chose a path in child care and preschool while working with my own children who all have varying stages of dyslexia. My son is a mechanic today, my daughter a teacher, and my youngest was a helilogger. All of these require math and my preschool children could count to 100 in English, count to 10 and above in French and they could do simple math (addition and subtraction learning through several methods including games and pictures as well as memory. Most children are eager to learn once you find the learning method that works best for them. NOT all children learn the same or at the same speed. I love working with young children in the English Language. my preference is children 4-8 years or young adults wanting to learn and understand the begining of English Language (speaking - reading & understanding)

About the lesson

I prefer young people grade 4-7 in general math. I make learning fun and have several tricks I have used with my own children and preschool children to teach them math. Games are a great way of teaching. Because of using games my daughter is now a grade school teacher still using games to teach general math to young people. I also enjoy working with 4-8 years in reading - comprehension of the English Language - and speaking the English Language.
